Rope'm Cowboy!!!

My cute baby brother, is not a baby anymore. He is seventeen!!! I remember taking him on dates with me because my mother had to work late.... Wow where has the time gone??? Well today I was suppose to go to Vernal to attend my friends wedding!!! (Sorry Jen) But... My kids got sick. I, instead went to watch my brother rope a cow. (Sorry steer) It was at the Spanish Fork fair grounds and also close to home. I took Taje because he seemed to be feeling a little better, but had to leave Sabe and Remi at home. They were so sad because they LOVE their uncle. (I keep trying to talk Slade into taking some of my kids on dates with him, but he keeps telling me NO!! He's been dating his girlfriend, Katie, for quite a while.) Anyway, Slade did awesome!! I have a video clip to show how talented he is. However, I'm still opposed to some of the fun Slade decides to do... Like when I had just moved to Vernal, Slade had a rodeo to go to. He was going to ride a bull. Everything was going well, but after the 8 seconds, Slade went off the bull and somehow got underneath the bulls feet. The bull stepped on my brother caving in his chest right by his heart. I was not there and did not see it, but heard all about it. I also saw the perfect hoof print that shown so clear. Slade had decided not to wear his chest guard. (Naughty, Naughty!!) They hurried and rushed him in the ambulance to the hospital and all ended okay. He is one lucky boy... I can't believe he didn't break a rib or pop a lung... I just hope that if there is a next time of riding a bull... he wears protective gear!!! Sorry to be a nag, but I would like you around a little longer.
