Pennies by the inch

Tonight, as I was cleaning up I came across some mail. It looked like junk mail so I was about to throw it away. I decided to open it up and read it... What I found made me cry. It told a story about a boy named Parker who received bone marrow from his brother Dylan. Parker was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 4 years old. This story is close to home. Parker and Dylan are boys who attend my kid's elementary school. My little Remi is smitten with Dylan, they are in the same grade. I can't believe how brave these boys are....To endure what they have endured just amazes me and they are hero's.

Please take a look at the web site and if anyone can donate that would be wonderful!!!

Thank YOU

Please read about Parkers story at www.penniesbytheinch.org

You are so good to mention something like this on your blog! It always makes my heart hurt that little people have to go through such trials!

When we start to feel sorry for ourselves we just have to look around and see there are so many others that are worse off. Thank you for sharing that wonderful story.
